Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Updates for 2024

The Massachusetts Department of Family and Medical Leave (DFML) has announced significant changes to the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) program, effective January 1, 2024. These updates include adjustments to the contribution rate, State Average Weekly Wage, and maximum weekly benefit amount. Employees can also supplement their PFML benefits with accrued paid leave, beginning on November 1, 2023.
