By July 2024, Cigna is planning to fully transition from physical ID cards to digital ID cards. Eligible medical, dental and vision clients with an April 1, 2023, May 1, 2023, and June 1, 2023 new and renewal effective date will be notified of this change on Feb. 7, 2023.
